At the official launch of the water recycling plant the sprinkler systems were still having to be manually set as the water volume dictated the amount of flow to the ovals.

More recently the system was automated and with the help of the Mayor of City Port Phillip, Liz Johnston and Paul Baulch GM Corporate Health, Safety & Environment the automated system was set running. J L Murphy gets the benefit of the water from the Barry Bros. water recycling plant.
