| Introduction: Barry Bros. Specialised Services were contracted by Boral Asphalt to remove the membrane that bonds the roadway to the steel deck. This was undertaken by using a combination of Ultra High Pressure Water and automated High Pressure Water. The Standard of clean was critical to the new membrane and was inspected daily by Vic Roads engineering department. | ||||||||||||||||||||

Problem: Every year Vic Roads tenders section of road surface that needs resurfacing due to excessive drumming and the potential for the bitumen to deteriorate. |
||||||||||||||||||||
Solution: Remove bitumen by mechanical means then remove membrane using Ultra High Pressure water. |
